As a family originally from Germany, we were immediately drawn to Cape May’s European-like town center, the Victorian architecture, and the rare ability to park your car and spend the rest of your stay on foot. The Washington Street Mall, the beaches, the cafés—everything felt both timeless and wonderfully walkable.
Cape del Mar grew from that love. We began renovating and curating a collection of vacation rentals that reflect what we value most when we travel: comfort, thoughtful design, sustainability, and a sense of ease. Whether it’s a renovated loft steps from the mall or a beachfront condo overlooking the Atlantic, each Cape del Mar home is designed to bring out the best of Cape May—America’s oldest seaside resort.
